Investment management firm seeks a full time (8am to 5:00pm Monday thru Friday) operations associate with entrepreneurial drive to help our firm grow and succeed. We are looking for individuals who can take a proactive approach to problem solving and have the ability to multitask with a sense of urgency. Individuals applying need to be professional, have excellent time management, organization, communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to take immediate ownership of their work.
This position is entry level but is ideal for someone who is ambitious and would like to continue their career growth, longer term with our firm. We are hoping to fill this position immediately and it is based out of our San Francisco office.
• Operational Support
-Research, evaluate and assist with the implementation of products or services that help to improve operational workflow and efficiency.
-Contribute to completion of department initiatives.
-Participation in quarterly client reporting process.
• Compliance Support
-Responsible for restriction additions/removals in our MOXY trading platform.
-Assist with government filings and processing class actions.
• Marketing support
-Support sales and marketing campaigns.
-Proof read, edit and format marketing publications.
• Client Service Support
-Assist with client billing.
-Interact with client servicing teams to address client queries.
-Maintenance of system data and integrity.
• Receptionist Duties
-Collecting and distributing mail.
-Answering phones and transferring calls.
-Greet clients and managing the conference room calendars.
• Maintaining process and procedures
• Providing backup support for office staff as needed
• Executing special projects and duties as assigned
4-year college degree mandatory. Candidates with degrees emphasizing finance, accounting, business, economics, or a similar field are preferred.
Previous experience in the investment management or investment advisory/consulting industry is preferred but not required.
Experience with Advent programs (APX, MOXY, Dataport) is helpful but not required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced Excel/spreadsheet experience is a plus.
