Business Process Specialization professionals apply expertise in a specific business process delivery capability (or capabilities) to ensure services are delivered in a manner consistent with our Standard Delivery Solutions and Service Level Agreements and drive continuous improvement.


This role will partner with the Learning Experience Design Lead (LEDL) to prototype and develop the instructor-led (ILT), vILT and Web based (WBT) learning experience and then develops the learning components. It will also creates learning experience components per the ILT, vILT and WBT instructional development process, quality, effort budget, timeline, and durability standards while using an iterative,  This role will help design Thinking approach to learning development components and will  provide learning component development expertise to the Learning Project Manager (LPM) for estimating effort, the iterative component development approach and timeline.


Key Responsibilities:

·         Transition Learning Experience Design Into Learning Components

o    Assist in defining learning component prototyping and testing approach

·         Iterative Development Using Prototypes

o    Provide input to project workplans that allow for an iterative prototype/development approach

o    Participate in Learning Prototype & Development (LP&D) team project kick-off meeting with LEDL to build understanding of the client and project

o    Identify detailed learning objectives for each component based on business drivers and performance goals

o    Create low-fidelity prototypes to get early stakeholder and user feedback to refine design solutions

o    Gather content gathering from Subject Matter Experts to develop components and create prototypes

o    With support, develop learning components to support the learning design specifications

o    Assist in determining the strategy to capture learner feedback and ensure the feedback is acquired and addressed as appropriate and how SMEs will review or participate in pilot and acceptance testing

o    Ensure overall quality, integrity, organization and execution of the learning design components meet agreed-to quality criteria, business objectives, and project timeline

o    Ensure the learning experience components incorporate activities and interactions that foster a durable learning experience – specifically that it is relevant, spaced, effortful, practiceful, engaging, contextual, generative, and social

o    Communicates any significant design changes in the learning components

·         Issue and Risk Management

o    Communicates project level risks and issues with timeline, scope, or budget

·         Transition to Delivery

o    Provide input to the LPM to ensure a full transition of the learning experience to the Strategic Delivery Planner as the learning experience moves into deployment/mobilization 

·         Relationship Management

o    Collaborate with team, peers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) via professional communication channels to maintain relationships

·         Complete Project Administration


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum 2 years of instructional design experience or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of advanced instructional design techniques and topics, adult learning theory, and web-based development tools

  • Familiarity with Design Thinking (also known as Human-Centered Design) and Iterative Learning Development

  • Strong written communication skills - working knowledge of editorial requirements– grammar and instructional design of materials; attention to detail to ensure quality

  • Strong oral communication skills - ability to participate in client SMEs and sponsor discussions to understand expectations and appropriate involvement

  • Must be knowledgeable in several instructional approaches (web-based, instructor-led, or virtual instructor-led, and blended training)

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

  • Knowledge of issue identification and problem-solving
