    Enterprise Analyst or Lead

    The Enterprise Analyst primarily participates in the project-driven activities to capture business needs, processes, requirements, use cases, project plans, and related documentation and specifications. The Enterprise Analyst works effectively with business and technical analysts, bringing an enterprise, cross-functional perspective to the project team(s), resulting in unified business requirements and streamlined processes that increasingly meet Company goals and initiatives. Additionally, the Enterprise Analyst consistently and appropriately uses Business Analysis and Business Process Engineering (BPE) methods and tools and helps others both inside and outside of PRO with these. The Enterprise Analyst may lead cross-functional teams, and/or makes significant contributions to team effectiveness in improving the methodology, tools, and/or internal processes.

     

    The Lead Enterprise Analyst is the individual who has the primary responsibility to elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the real needs of the project stakeholders, including customers and end users. The Lead Enterprise Analyst:

    • Leads, in conjunction with the project manager and project sponsor, the project Concept phase to document the projects’ vision, the project’s scope, and the high level requirements.
    • Participates in and may lead the project-driven activities to capture business needs, processes, requirements, business rules, use cases, project plans, and related documentation and specifications.
    • Ensures that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards.
    • Works effectively with business and technical analysts, bringing an enterprise, cross-functional perspective to the project team(s) resulting in unified business requirements and streamlined processes that increasingly meet Company goals and initiatives.
    • Provides valuable, constructive coaching and education to increase the effectiveness of Enterprise Analysts in their work and their expanding professional relationships.
    • Makes significant contributions to team effectiveness in improving the methodology, tools, and/or team processes.
    • Drives improved communication and education of PRO’s business and technical partners as cross-functional processes are enhanced using requirements gathering and analysis practices and methods.

    Minimum Requirements

    Enterprise Analyst

    • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience plus at least  5 years of progressively responsible related industry experience is required.  Experience must be in a business area and involve working with business requirements, requirements documentation, or business modeling plus some familiarity with systems analysis.
    • Experience leading others including effective planning, prioritizing, work definition, delegation, and monitoring of others’ deliverables quality
    • Ability to facilitate requirements definition activities within small to medium sized groups
    • Developing professional in the mastery of project management activities & project planning & reporting
    • Previous experience in a professional services environment is strongly desired.
    • Strong analytical, written, listening, and oral communication skills; experience with structured analysis and design methodologies and processes.
    • Ability to contribute to methodology continuous improvement efforts and to identify and implement best practices associated with requirements gathering/definition activities consistent with Regence established practices/procedures
    • General knowledge of healthcare business processes and systems is preferred with
    • General understanding of one or more component areas within the specified CBM business process domain area
    • General understanding of high-level application and business architecture within specified domain/component area(s)
    • General understanding of testing activity best practices
    • Demonstrable experience with one or more of the following:
    • Business Analysis processes including: requirements gathering, documentation and client relationship development
    • Enterprise Business Models, especially insurance, health care, and financial services
    • Iterative Solutions Development Life Cycle
    • Data Management techniques, tools, and solutions
    • Testing techniques, tools and solutions
    • Business Process Engineering methods and tools

    Enterprise Analyst Lead

    • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience plus at least 7 years of progressively responsible related industry experience is required.  Experience must be in a business area and involve working with business requirements, requirements documentation, or business modeling plus some familiarity with systems analysis.  Experience must include:
    • Business Analysis processes including: requirements gathering, documentation and client relationship development
    • Enterprise Business Process Models and Engineering methods, business process analysis, modeling and supporting tools and metrics.
    • Relevant domain knowledge and experience, especially insurance, health care, and financial services
    • Iterative Solutions Development Life Cycle
    • Communication, including writing, presenting, listening, and facilitating
    • Problem Resolution and Conflict Management
    • Testing techniques, tools and solutions
    • Data Management techniques, tools, and solutions
    • Proven success with analysis of large scale systems integration efforts including complex business modeling including:
    • The ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, align them with alternative technical and business approaches, and work with business and technical teams to develop solutions that meet goals and requirements
    • Strong analytical, written, listening and oral communications skills
    • Experience with structured analysis and design methodologies, practices and processes
    • End to End (E2E) knowledge of the Regence Operating Model (business & IT) within specified Domain area(s)
    • Recognized IT leadership experience & skills at both the project and program levels
    • Thought leader/execution SME with respect to Regence requirements gathering methodology and tools including Process Modeling tools, logic diagrams, root cause analysis, etc.
    • Ability to coach/mentor Business SMEs/BSAs with respect to requirements gathering methodology activities & deliverables and testing strategy, plan development and execution
    • Understanding of high-level application and business architecture with specified domain area(s)
    • Experience as a manager leading others including effective planning, prioritizing, work definition, delegation, and monitoring of deliverables quality, and employee development including:
    • Mastery of project management activities & project planning/reporting within EPMO guidelines
    • Facilitation of requirements gathering activities for large, complex and “high level” groups within specified Domain area(s)
    • Ability to work in a complex environment, collaborate with team members inside and outside of the division and facilitate discussions between senior management, project management and the business to prioritize and manage time commitments of project staff
    • Previous experience in a professional services environment (strongly desired)
    • General knowledge of healthcare business processes and systems is preferred
