As part of the Business Planning organization, you will leverage JDA Planning environment to provide a 24-month forecast. The forecasting process is closely tied to the operational performance of Stanley Black & Decker as well as driving and supporting key business decisions. Key customers and interfaces include: Product Marketing, Supply Planning, and Demand Planning counterparts. This requisition serves as a means to build a continued talent pool.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Direct Demand Planning efforts with SBU product team
Manage the use of shipment and demand information to develop trend analysis.
Utilize the JDA forecasting system to develop and maintain forecasting information.
Plan new product transitions.
Proactively maintain JDA forecast.
Lead or support continuous improvement projects to achieve 99% customer fill rates.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience in demand planning using forecast algorithms
Complete understanding of manufacturing lead times
Excellent analytical & communication skills
Knowledge of supply chain
Basic financial skills
Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills
Ability to work across organizational boundaries and levels
Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related experience.
At least 2 - 5 years of forecasting/planning experience
Knowledge of JDA & SAP preferred
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
