The Commercial Client Solutions Group has end to end responsibility for defining and delivering the global product portfolio and enabling the sales and channel teams to exceed their Revenue, Unit, and Margin targets. Latitude commercial notebooks is one of the largest lines of business at Dell and it provides a foundation on which many of Dells solutions are delivered to our commercial customers. This role will be responsible for worldwide transition management for the Commercial Mobility Portfolio. It requires someone who is passionate about products and will take on end-to-end ownership of strategy, communication and management of transitions for Latitude products and key accessories. Key responsibilities: - Define transition forecasts for mobility products, ensuring the balance between legacy product availability and appropriate ramp of category replacement platforms. Communicate and globally align those plans into a worldwide product transition strategy. - Ensure products are retired with minimal excess inventory or margin erosion as new replacement products launch, while maintaining appropriate commercial transition timelines. - Communicate status to key stakeholders and executives, providing recommendations to ensure execution to the strategy - Translate business strategies into product, operations, sales efforts that deliver against both our core customer needs and our company strategic and financial goals. - Monitor products throughout their lifecycle to ensure they hit business case objectives and take remedial action for misses QUALIFICATION: Requirements: - BA/BS degree and 5+ years of relevant experience - Product marketing, product management, and/or program management experience preferred - Able to work in a fast paced environment requiring daily decision making - Strategic analysis and business modeling skills - Attention to detail balanced with high level process overview/improvements - Strong business acumen - Solid understanding of corporate customers and the way they procure and consume IT Company Description With more than 100,000 team members globally, we promote an environment that is rooted in the entrepreneurial spirit in which the company was founded.
