The Client Education Manager is hybrid role: they are both a full-time software instructor and full-time content creator.
On most days, the CEM will host Splash trainings — usually virtually, but often in-person — with our top enterprise customers. These trainings range from onboarding new users, to hosting more advanced skill-sharpening lessons, to running workshops with highly skilled veterans.
The CEM will also be a prolific producer of Learning Management System (LMS) content — creating online courses that empower clients to self-educate and build proficiency.
The CEM will make significant contributions to the Splash webinar program and internal education initiatives, which includes: new employee onboarding, product release trainings, and Sales Enablement workshops.
The Education Manager is a skilled and versatile communicator with client-facing experience.
Put simply: you’re a master of demoing software and presenting prepared materials. You’re able to explain technical concepts in a way that feels fun and digestible.
The Education Manager is insightful and consultative.

Other skills we’re looking for:
A background in presentation or performance, which would including having accumulated lots of reps hosting webinars or presenting in front of a crowd. This would also entail having acted, done stand-up comedy, took improv classes, hosted a radio show or podcast, performed artistically, or done any style of on-camera work.
Strong writing background: You’ve written video scripts, or created product education materials, or penned product marketing copy, or published work that is either scholarly, literary, journalistic, or opinion
Splash: Prior experience using Splash to design or successfully execute events, especially in an official business capacity
Technical savvy, or experience working with and/or communicating the intricacies of web-based technologies or software programs
Learning Management experience: You’ve created content for an LMS, or had a past job that included the distribution of e-learning content
Events: You’ve worked in the planning or marketing of events, especially B2B or B2C.
Teaching experience, having worked in an official capacity as an educator, tutor, mentor, coach, trainer, or instructor.
Design: You’ve worked as a graphic designer, have experience building websites using a web-based CMS, or possess a strong understanding of design theory and concepts.
Bonus points if you have any experience working with HTML, CSS, or other programming languages.
