THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our Business Development & Partnerships team is seeking an innovative and driven, deal-oriented leader to originate and execute high-impact partnerships for the StubHub UK Music business.

The Music Business Development Manager for the UK is a full-time role, responsible and accountable for StubHub’s Business Development within the music vertical across the UK market.

This individual will be based in London, United Kingdom, and will report into the Head of Music Business Development, StubHub International.

This individual will also have a critical “player-coach” role to negotiate on StubHub’s behalf with strategic partners and to define the long-term partnerships plan for the growth of StubHub international footprint.

The ideal candidate will have strong relationships within the music industry at UK level. The individual will have demonstrated success with innovating and implementing commerce solutions with music properties.

Key Responsibilities in the market

Identify and develop strategic partners and opportunities for strategic relationships.

Initiate, structure, negotiate and close partnership deals that support StubHub strategy and goals.

Ensure StubHub achieves optimum structure, terms and conditions for each deal

Support StubHub UK organization and more specially our Music Partnerships vertical to accelerate aggressive growth plans.

Responsible for meeting transactional sales targets for the UK Music partnerships business.

Build and manage a UK business development partnerships pipeline with music properties and venues within the entertainment industry.

Own all aspects of partnership deals, including sourcing, qualification, initial rationale/pitch, financial modeling, due diligence and closing & integration activities.

Collaborate on building and developing a high-performing Business Development team that competes and wins together

Set priority and sequencing for key deals

Drive and articulate StubHub’s positioning with key external strategic partners

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development and strategic partnerships, with strong preference towards someone with experience in music.

Deep passion for music and strong knowledge of the top tier sports property landscape in the UK.

Proven track record of successful negotiation for impactful, complex deals, including relationship management.

Proven experience with structuring customized deals, comfort working across a matrix and intuition in balancing “right” and “fast”.

Exceptional structured thinking and communication skills.

Ability to make recommendations with imperfect data

Preferably past international experience and working in a variety of cultures and territories.

Team player committed to delivering results in a fast-paced environment

Additional preference: e-commerce or ticketing industry experience

Willing to travel up to 30% of the time.
