The Global Brand Innovation Team at Nike exists to create the future of sport, serving athletes* through distinctive consumer experiences by concepting, visualizing and piloting new marketing initiatives across product and brand campaigns and through physical and digital experiences. The team actively collaborates with key partners in the Nike marketing organization in order to amplify, extend brand priorities and disrupt consumer expectations.

The Creative Team within Global Brand Innovation thinks progressively and strategically and executes world class creative solutions and storytelling. The team obsesses both creative culture and tech culture and looks for opportunities to apply both to influence the team’s ideas and output. We leverage our brand design and storytelling expertise but think digital first and constantly look to integrate emerging capabilities into our prototypes and consumer facing experiences. We build partnerships and work in a highly collaborative manner.

Your role within this team is Designer II. Your responsibilities are focused on exploring, developing and executing world class creative on behalf of the team and brand, which an emphasis on creative quality and speed. This position requires expert knowledge of creative culture and design with an enthusiastic curiosity towards emerging digital and technology culture. A focus of the job is finding the overlap between the two and applying that to innovative marketing concepts. You loving being a maker and you are comfortable working in digital and physical spaces and exhibit a committed collaborative attitude towards both creative and non-creative partners. You are enthusiastic about the process of presenting and converting supporters of our creative concepts and are willing to absorb team best practices.

Based on your experience, you produce world class creative yourself but are also comfortable calling on creators and agencies whom you can leverage to help bring our ideas to life in unexpected ways. You will be required to build and develop relationships with individuals and teams within and outside of Nike.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conceiving, developing and managing creative concepts based on team ideation or briefs
  • Executing consumer facing creative concepts as part of a larger team
  • Manage your work consistently and efficiently to meet team’s creative and timeline expectations
  • Foster and take part in a collaborative work environment

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience
  • Brand design expertise
  • Digital design and marketing proficiency
  • Creative Technology appetite
  • Creative culture obsession
  • General understanding of Nike and the brand’s role in sport and culture
  • Manage multiple projects, priorities and partners simultaneously
  • Articulation and presentation of ideas and work
