TRACE is a dynamic and growing international organization based in Annapolis, Maryland that provides practical and cost-effective anti-bribery compliance solutions for multinational companies. TRACE is seeking an experienced sales manager to take ownership of sales activities and growth in North and South America and to manage a growing team of sales reps.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Strategy and Communications, your input will be valuable in product development, pricing and business development strategy. You will help increase membership and due diligence sales, providing sales reps with direction, oversight, vision and leadership. The ideal candidate will be sales and profit motivated and have a proven track record in aggressive sales growth in consulting services or a similar field. Manage a growing team of sales reps in North and South America.
Utilize Salesforce.com to assign leads, monitor pipeline, manage sales activity and forecast sales.
Establish and implement short and long-term business development goals in alignment with company revenue targets.
Develop an action plan and strategy to increase sales and identify new prospects.
Set and monitor activity standards for prospecting calls, presentations, demos, proposals and closes.
Prepare sales presentations, templates and proposals.
Manage sales processes including RFP responses, pricing and contract negotiations.
Work with sales reps to develop sales plans with the objective of increasing sales and reducing sales cycle times.
Build cohesiveness within the sales team and provide direction, support and motivation.
Work collaboratively with other departments to improve procedures, workflows and customer service.
Represent the company at sponsored events.
Provide feedback and reports to senior management regarding sales performance.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products/services, competitors and the compliance industry.
Relationship and consultative sales experience
Three years’ experience managing a sales team
Knowledge of due diligence and FCPA/anti-bribery compliance
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask
Excellent analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers, team members and managers
Interest in international business a plus
SalesForce experience strongly preferred
Fluency in other languages (Spanish, Portuguese, French) a plus
