About me
I started my first company when I was 26 and in my eclectic career I have worked for start-ups, Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, politics and had several companies of my own. After an early career in technology, I founded and ran the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs helping women start and grow venture funded businesses. The organization is now Watermark (www.wearewatermark.org). I also helped co-found Springboard, the venture catalyst for women entrepreneurs (www.sb.co) that has led to over $7 billion in funding for women founded and led companies.
I am the author of Ready to Be a Thought Leader? and I have my own company, Thought Leadership Lab, where I work with individuals and organizations on how to accelerate their journey from leader to thought leader.
I also teach at Stanford Business School and I speak and train on topics of leadership, women's leadership, thought leadership and career success for companies, conferences and community events.
