About me
Bhavna Anna Guyadeen was born and raised on the beautiful island of Barbados. Her childhood fostered interests in watching movies at the drive-in theater, learning to sing with her mom and ballet dance classes at school.
“As a child, I was forced to go outside and use my imagination. I’d create different worlds with my cousins in our garden and every day we were different characters. Looking back, everything I did was creative but I just didn’t understand it at the time. It's a space that I just love being in.”
Currently, Bhavna is a human rights activist for The United Nations, serves on the board of The David Lynch Foundation and a columnist for The Huffington Post.
