I have a hard time letting go of my things, however, I'm an very certain it's time I do because some of the them don't fit me now. What are some of the best methods to clean your closet for the summer?

What I do is ask myself 'have i worn this in the past year? if not, do i have a sentimental attachment to the item?' if not, i give them away to charity. Does this help @Sumiya Choudhry ?

Yes! That's very helpful. Now that I think about it, I definitely have some items I didn't wear at all last year or even the year before. I do have sentimental attachment to clothes I bought specifically for an event but I feel I just need to let go. It'll probably help someone else. Would you happen to know where to donate? I've donated to thrift store in the past but with new thrifting trend, I've noticed that thrift stores have raised their prices and someone in need can't really afford thrifted clothes either. Do you know any organizing that give away clothes donated clothes free of charge?
