When we thought we've gotten out of a problem, we fell right back into another one. When we thought we didn't have to tolerate curses, offending signs and public killings anymore, we had to suffer again by the same hands that held us down not so long ago. The police has gotten more violent than ever these past months and I'm not talking generally, I'm talking about their actions towards people of other races besides the white one. African Americans, Asians and Latinos. Of course, policemen have always been known for acting violently towards other races in the 60's perhaps, but those were different times. But come on! We've had an African-American president already and more rights have been given to us people of different races... So why are we still treated this way? That just proves that we can never let our guard down because we never know what might happen. It isn't over until it is over EVERYWHERE. Like Martin Luther King Jr. said: "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere"
I'm here to spread empowerment and positivity. It's our time to shine and show what we're capable of. Always follow your dreams and never settle for less. Fight for your future and your rights and make your voice be heard.
