Howdowestopsomuchwaistedpotential?

Anyone whose read I Am Mogul knows that 61 million women are not given access to proper education. However, what about the women who were given access to education? I personally know so many women, with so much potential, that simply can't get a decent job. We're graduating from college with bachelors degrees, full resumes, academic honors, etc. only to become a barista and move back in with our parents. Contemplating masters degrees, which aren't worth the investment, because there are plenty of MBA grads walking around with the same dilemma. We know this, because they are our co-workers at Starbucks. Women aren't getting hired. How are we suppose to earn our seat at the table, if we can't get hired, because we don't have experience? I've seen countless "entry level" positions requiring 7 years of experience. What? Is our educational system failing us when companies feel they can't hire us without experience? I thought I went to school to prepare me for my career, but apparently it was only so I could have some witty comebacks, while joking with a customer ordering their morning coffee.

While America is still in many regards one of the best countries, if not the best country, to be in, it does have a lot of things that need to be fixed. Cost of education, healthcare, etc., just to mention a few. My hat off to @Jessica Crossland 50  for having the courage - and wisdom - to let us know about her feelings, which, I am sure, will help change America to make it a better place for all!
