This is an interesting article from James Clear that recommends prioritizing systems to achieve goals rather than the goals themselves.

What do you think? Is the goal the most important or is the process to accomplish it most important?

I think your goal should be your primary focus-- from then on, you can figure out a breakdown of the system you need to accomplish those goals!

Great advice - having a focus is invaluable when it comes to positioning yourself for success.

I think a system needs to be put into place to track progress but everyone's progress is different.

This reminds me of the quote "a goal is a dream with a plan." Without a methodology to track progress, it's unlikely you'll get anywhere with your goals; you're definitely right that different people work at different paces though, it's important to respect that.

You won't achieve the goal unless you focus on and appreciate the small steps/process it takes to get there :-) There's a quote I love that talks about appreciating the small steps, which might feel like nothing, but in the end, they are building up and leading to reaching your goal.

That's true. Breaking goals down into smaller steps is definitely a great way to put things in perspective and be more productive as well.

Yes, and it takes a lot of pressure off as well!
