This is a very interesting question: @Elizabeth Stone @Shantel Risher  @Donna Dawkins @Syl Sabastian 38 @Samantha O'Brochta @lwcornett @Johanna Hartford do you feel like the feminists movements are going too far?

No. How can they really? If we think about it, what we are looking at is a segment of the feminist movement, not all of it. An extreme by a relatively small proportion. Since the matter is so important, some excess is great. It communicates the seriousness, and it also helps to establish that line of too far. In such issues, a line difficult to draw. Without some going over, we don't know where it is.

Another advantage of that spearhead of excess is publicity. As long as the majority of the movement is not in excess, that attention goes to the fundamental issues, and is good. Their activities stimulate exactly the conversation that is needed. What is too much, and thus, what needs to be done. The conversation is about *What* to do, not whether or not something need be done. When it's about how much, doing itself is a foregone conclusion. A major battle won when that shift has occurred.

uh no. Feminism is simply just equality for the genders, so until women are paid the same as men, given the same opportunities as men, are allowed to make their own decisions about their bodies, etc etc. there will always be the feminist movement, and it can't go "too far" until all of those issues (+ countless more) are actually resolved
