Hello - Siheun and Numaan here! We’re the cofounders of Rally, a transportation technology startup that helps individuals and groups organize travel together by using buses and vans. In the past few years, we’ve helped hundreds of thousands of riders get to their favorite sports, concerts and festivals all across US and Canada.
The first trip we ever organized was for the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear, hosted in 2010 by Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, to oppose a growing trend of political extremism (sound familiar?). We built Rally to help communities come together, and have remained committed to supporting our constitutional right to peaceful assembly. We’re especially thrilled to help tens of thousands of women travel to the Women’s March on Washington, which will be on January 21, 2017.
One fun fact about us is that we met on OKCupid (as a 99% love match no less!) and are now life partners. Our families immigrated to NYC in the 70s and 80s from Korea and Pakistan, and we grew up watching our parents work together as co-founders of their own businesses. We’ve learned a lot from watching them, and from our experiences at Yale Entrepreneurial Institute and Techstars.
We’re so excited to answer your questions about how we started Rally, our entrepreneurial journey, and the upcoming Women’s March.
Now's your chance to ask us anything! Please write your questions in the comments section below and we'll answer the questions live on Tuesday, December 20th at 2pm ET.
