Over the years, Barba has actively promoted women in business and women in tech, mostly out of strong gratitude for the opportunities her career path in the tech world has given her. She co-founded the ‘Woman in Digital Day’ in France in 2013, hosted the ‘Femmes en Or, Innovation Day’ in Paris and the ‘Women in Innovation Forum NY’ in 2016.
Women in Innovation Forum 2017
The WIN Forum NY is a one day action packed conference aiming at supporting the next generation of women leaders and entrepreneurs. Committed to tackle with the lack of women in leadership position and in tech, WIN Forum NY is partnering for the second year with Girls Who Code and gives the proceeds of the conference to the non-profit. For the second year, it will shake the stereotype of the leader and inspire women of all backgrounds to give them energy and confidence to be innovative leaders, by giving them the tools to effectively develop their skills and mindset which leaders and entrepreneurs are made of. “It is an exciting time to be a woman in business, explains Catherine Barba. Women don’t lack any of the skills to be at the top. By cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset and embracing technology, women will challenge conventional views and flourish in leadership and entrepreneurship!” To register for the Women in Innovation Forum, click here.
