I’m a People Operations Coordinator out of Arizona with a background in admissions counseling for higher education. To me, people operations go beyond human resources. It means persisting with patience, being empathetic in every way, and ensuring employees have the best experience to get them on track towards their future goals—similar to my background in academia.
At Pliancy, we push each other to embrace creativity, empathy, and compassion—we nurture one another to be the best version of themselves. I embrace our people-first organization and strive toward diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB). I’m lending my experience and personality to the team as we push the company further into the future and personify these values.
We’re not just any IT consultancy. Our people care and embrace knowledge, no matter the team, and go beyond the status quo of our industry. There’s so much to learn—whether it’s from my colleagues or about the organization. We’re on this journey together to build a better team and encourage others as we trail-blaze in our personal and professional lives.
As a People Operations Coordinator, I aid in sourcing new talent, support the day-to-day people operations, build HR processes, and help implement strategic goals. I collaborate with the rest of the People Operations team to solve problems and set up Pliancy’s employees for success. My empathetic approach helps me strive to keep Pliancy a people-first organization, work with employees to find solutions to everyday problems, and keep our culture of DEIB running strong.
