Alexa von Tobel, CFP® is the founder and CEO of LearnVest.com, and The New York Times bestselling author of Financially Fearless. Originally from Florida, Alexa graduated from Harvard College and went to Harvard Business School before launching LearnVest, which is aimed at making financial planning affordable, accessible and delightful. She brings her passion for innovative product design to the financial planning space, as she works to revolutionize how Americans interact with their money. Alexa raised nearly $75 million in financing for LearnVest, which was acquired by Northwestern Mutual in May 2015 in one of the biggest fintech acquisitions of the decade. Alexa is also a member of the 2016 Class of
Henry Crown Fellows and an inaugural member of the Presidential Ambassadors for Global
Entrepreneurship for the White House.
