Air Products

At Air Products we reimagine what’s possible by bringing people together to collaborate and innovate solutions to the world’s most significant energy and environmental sustainability challenges.

We are the world’s largest hydrogen producer with over 80 years of experience. We are hydrogen experts delivering safe, end-to-end solutions, investing in real, clean energy projects at scale, and driving the industry forward to generate a cleaner future.

What working for Air Products would mean for you:

  • Safety First: To us, there's nothing more important than your safety. Not production levels, sales, or profits.

  • Belong and Matter: Diversity runs through everything we do at Air Products — through our motivated people, our global customers and the unique backgrounds and perspectives we each bring.

  • Build Tomorrow Together: We're not shy about charting new paths to cleaner solutions that help create a healthier planet — now and tomorrow, while we grow our core IG business and deliver significant sustainability benefits for our customers.

  • Grow with Us: As Air Products continues to grow, so can you. New growth opportunities emerge daily; it's up to you (and your manager) to identify them, and then find out how to pursue them.

Together, we make a difference.

Diversity & Inclusion

With more than 22,000 employees in 50 countries, diversity and inclusion is a valued part of the culture of Air Products. The unique perspectives and experiences our employees bring to their work are essential to meeting our customers’ needs and bringing innovation to the wide range of markets we serve, from food processing to metals processing to transportation. That is why we’ve set a goal to become the most diverse industrial gas company in the world and why we foster a collaborative and respectful work environment where everyone can achieve their true potential.

Diversity Goals

In October 2020, we announced a goal to achieve at least 20 percent minority representation from a 17 percent base level in our U.S. professional and managerial population by 2025. Having already reached this objective in 2021, Air Products set a new, ambitious goal to achieve 30 percent U.S. minority representation in these roles by 2025. This is yet another measurable, transparent step toward achieving our objective of becoming the most diverse industrial gas company in the world.

Air Products has a broad operating scope and growing cultural landscape of more than 20,000 employees in over 50 countries. We are pleased with what we have accomplished and are excited to expand and grow our efforts. We will continue to report progress towards these goals and post future EEO-1 reports annually within sixty days following submittal of such report to the EEOC.

Inclusion Goals

Embed inclusive leadership practices to foster a respectful workplace where we routinely seek out diverse thinking and where people are empowered to confidently express their viewpoints.

Social impact

Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. When it comes to sustainability, companies need to be transparent about their impacts on people and the environment, what they’re doing to minimize those impacts, and how their business helps others do the same. The sustainability indexes you see here are external validation that we’re making progress and we’re sharing our results with the world.

Grow responsibly through sustainability driven opportunities that benefit our customers and our world. We help customers improve their sustainability performance through higher productivity, better quality products, reduced energy use, and lower emissions.

Conserve resources and reduce environmental footprints through cost-effective improvements. We set aggressive environmental performance goals for greenhouse gases, energy, water, and our fleet, and we measure progress to continually improve our own operations.

Care for our employees, customers and communities—protecting our license to operate and grow. We are building a culture of safety, simplicity, speed, and self-confidence. Our goal is zero accidents and zero incidents. We are committed to developing our people, supporting our communities, engaging suppliers and upholding our integrity.

As colleagues, we are driven to succeed by collaborating on work that is challenging and makes a difference.
