NEW YORK’S KINFOLK KICKS OFF SS17 SEASON STRONG WITH ITALY’S ICONIC STONE ISLAND

For the first time ever, notorious lifestyle and contemporary menswear brand Kinfolk will be partnering with Italian premium men’s apparel brand Stone Island to host a collaborative pop-up shop at The Kinfolk Store in Brooklyn. As the creators of thoughtfully elegant lifestyle and product experiences, Kinfolk will present a special installation dedicated to Stone Island’s Marina collection in the mezzanine space of their flagship location on 94 Wythe.To mark the launch of this exciting partnership announcement, Kinfolk will offer the best of Stone Island: the Marina collection together with Kinfolk’s in-line store selection will be available for purchase on opening night. Coinciding with this special shopping event, Kinfolk will debut its latest HiGH LIFE, LOW LIFE collection for SS17. Invitees will also be able to shop the permanent selection of Kinfolk gear, among other top menswear labels such as Bedwin & The Heartbreakers,Wacko Maria, N. Hoolywood, You Must Create (YMC) and Bleu De Paname.“Over the past 2 years, Stone Island has been one of the most interesting labels within our store selection,” reveals Jey Perie, Creative Director at Kinfolk about the cult Italian brand. “The product is technically flawless and performs very well for us in the store. Beyond a retailer perspective, we’re excited to support the brand by opening our shop’s doors to the mand introducing them to our community. We’re stoked to be a part of Stone Island’s growth in the U.S. and hope we can connect their European aesthetics to the culture here in Brooklyn.”The pop-up and installation will premiere on Thursday evening, March 23 with a press preview open to shoppers and an after-party slated with acts such as CHASE B, Travis Scott’s DJ, to celebrate the launch. The installation will officially open to the public on Friday, March 24 and will remain on display at The Kinfolk Store until early May. Building upon the momentum that will be generated from this pop-up initiative, Kinfolk plans on announcing more pop-ups and event activations throughout the summer as well as the launch of two capsule Kinfolk collections in the coming season.The Kinfolk SS17 collection and apparel line as well as the Stone Island Marina collection will be available at their flagship storefront at 94 Wythe Avenue Brooklyn, NY and online at kinfolklife.com.
