How would you define Entrepreneurship?
Entrepreneurship is the ability and readiness to build up, systematize and administer a business undertaking along with any of its risks in order to make profit. For example, when there is the commencement of a new business venture, it signifies entrepreneurship on the part of the founder of that business.
Economics says that entrepreneurship, when mixed with land, labor, natural resources and capital can generate revenue. An entrepreneur is a person who retains an entrepreneurial skill and spirit that is characterized by his/her unique, innovative and risk-taking outlook. He/she becomes the essential part of a nation, who is capable of succeeding in an ever-changing and increasingly competitive global marketplace.
Not everyone is capable of developing the skills of entrepreneurship. However, there isan exceedingly large number of entrepreneurs all across the world now. Most of them are successful,while some are still trying to achieve success in their field. Amongst the list of successful entrepreneurs of the world, the name of Gurbaksh Singh Chahal stands tall.

Gurbaksh Singh Chahal comesfrom the town of Tarn Taran Sahib, near Amritsar in Punjab, India. He was born on July 17, 1982. At the age of 4, with his family, he left for San Jose in California. In December 1998 Gurbaksh dropped out of his high school to work on his first venture, ClickAgents. It was an advertising network focused on performance-based advertising. In January 2004, Chahal established BlueLithium that specialized in behavioral targeting of banner advertisments. In September 2009, Chahal started with his third venture, gWallet, which was a mobile wallet.
He founded ‘The Chahal Foundation’ on the day of his thirty-second birthday. It was designed with a mission to create a positive change in the society. It laid stress on child education, stop hate crimes, provide scholarships and other such social causes.
He is the author of the book “The Dream” which entails his entrepreneurial journey from Punjab to America. On 23rd October 2008, he appeared on the famous television show - ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show”. There also he discussed his life and business journey.
