Continue your journey visiting San Diego – the southernmost point of California. Distance from Los Angeles is 193 km. On the way you will not be bored – the smell of the ocean and the beautiful scenery will make you forget about the long driveway. San Diego is full of magnificent beaches, well-developed resort infrastructure and amusement parks. It is worth walking on the Old city and the quarter of gas lamps. However, the main points of cultural attractions are the Chrystal Cathedral, the Sea World, the enormous Balboa Park and the Zoo (with more than 4,000 animal species).
How is it possible to be California and not to visit Silicon Valley (San Jose)? The way is very long - 740 km. But, you are not going to stay one day in this state, are you? Attend the other interesting places and hotels on the road. Silicon Valley has such strange name because it is the area of high technology. Among the sights very popular are the following: Kelley Park, Zoo, Japanese Garden, Botanic Gardens, Museum of History, Winchester Mystery House, Discovery Museum, Egyptian Museum, planetarium and Textile Museum.
And, of course, San Francisco. Only 83 km from San Jose. The city is situated in a very picturesque place. Leave the impressive monuments and museums’ tedious trips to other cities. The main attraction of San Francisco is the Golden Gate Bridge – one of the largest suspended bridges in the world. Also very popular places are Golden Gate Park, the legendary Ocean Beach and the ethnic district Chinatown.
The whole trip across California will be 1016 km long (without turning back to Los Angeles). You should come here for a week or better two, to see all the beauty of the Golden State of America.
