Responsibilities

  1. Verizon Wireless is looking for a highly motivated, sales focused individual to join its growing digital team.  The Online Personalization Manager will be an integral part of the personalization team responsible for identifying and executing vzw.com digital personalization strategy. The role will focus on delivering a best in-class integrated customer experience across all channels of Verizon Wireless. To be effective, this position requires an individual who can leverage technology, data, and content to deliver and execute an actionable roadmap that drives results. This role will work within a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment.  To be successful, this individual will partner with various teams within Verizon Wireless to identify opportunities that widen our position in the marketplace.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and actively manage the digital Personalization roadmap
  • Serve as a key business SME and point o contract for digital Personalization
  • Monitor the competitive market place and quantify new opportunities
  • Align Personalization roadmap with the overall Internet Sales & Operations priority roadmap
  • Keep current on emerging technologies and business strategies
  • Collaborate with other internal organizations, channels, agencies, and 3rd party partners to identify and execute integrated and cross-channel initiatives
  • Act as end-user advocate and ensure balanced decisions are made
  • Ensure clear communication and coordination across business
  • Define, document and drive key business metrics and reporting

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or 6 or more years of equivalent experience
  • Experience online/ecommerce
  • Experience influencing and leading partners and internal organizations to meet goals
  • Strong business, sales, and customer service interaction track record with excellent communication skills
  • Relevant business experience with partner management a vendor selection
  • Clear and effective verbal, writing, and presentation skills
  • Experience with ATG/Endeca and the Adobe Marketing Cloud products
  • Strong leadership qualities; Team management experience a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred
  • Technical and Marketing backgrounds a plus
  • Clear thinker with the ability the to determine the critical few requirements to ensure project success and to plan for near-term and long-term growth
  • History of delivering results on time ad ahead of goal
  • Proven track record in creating and executing effective co-marketing programs to help grow sales, traffic and/or engagement
